 note = {Goa had been one of the ports on the way from Portugal to Japan between the middle of 16th century and the middle of 17th century and had been occupied by Portugal until 1961. As the Japanese food culture was greatly influenced by Portuguese, the author tried to study Portuguese influences on Goan food culture comparing that on Japanese food culture, and found there were some similarities. They cooked Portuguese dishes with local ingredients in the traditional way of cooking style and created original Creole dishes, however, a big difference is that they use a lot of Indian spices.},
